Default hcp mounts clearance

hey i was wondering how the clearance of the oil pan and headers were on the hcp mount kit for a 89 crx with a gsr motor to the floor. and how is the clearance of hasport's mount kit to the floor? i dont wanna scrape my oil pan or my headers..and i'm trying to find out wich mount kit has the better ground clearance for the headers and oil pan. after my swap, i'm planning to only lower my car by 1" or depending on the clearance...thanks in advance

here is a b18c in a crx with hcp mounts and a 4-1 header. My car is only lowered about 2" on b-g coilovers. im thinking the hasport mounts position the motor a bit higher.

Correct, the HASport mounts do position the motor slightly higher, but with a B18C like in your car, the B18C will hit the hood with the HASport kit and clears just fine with the HCP kit. So it's a matter of preference. With any 4-1 header, for any mount kit, the header is going to hang low regardles.

Hey Fotions, nice ride. I like the JDM front end. Especially the higher middle section of the JDM hood. How much did you have to notch out your front crossmember to clear the 4 into 1?

Did you use the newer 94+ intermediate shaft with your B18c1? What cable tranny is better for the GSR in your opinion? The S1/J1/YS1 gearing? Or the Y1 gearing?

Others opinions welcome.

the crossmember was notched a tiny bit with a sawzall and then just hammered down, and welded.
i used the axles from the 95 integra , mid shaft and both axles, just make sure you change the seal on the tranny-mid shaft side.

im using a j1 tranny, very short gears in such a light car. i would say you cant go wrong with any of the transmissions you mention. i have been in a car with a similar setup with a LS cable tranny, and it just seems to lag a lil bit.

thanks for the comments.
