Default on auto tranny building?

i know it sounds a bit odd.. i have a helms on the way and i've been reshearching a bit. I find a fellow h-t members view is valued the most.. so.. i have to stay with a automatic for certain reasons, block on the way, t3 60 trim turbo, external wastegate, fuerl,, 14-16 psi.. but.. auto tranny.. 99 civic sedan, still have'nt found the y8 tranny..

I've found some tranny coolers.. and going to get a tranny temp sensor.. and swaping the y7 for the y8.. tourqe converter.. what can i do to get a short gear ration, or better gearing.. stronger.. anything also what makes an auto diffrent in structer than a 5 spd..

try contacting level10 or JMO they both build torque converters and other stuff. IMO just do a conversion to manual. i myself have a turbo auto teg and just made the decision to go manual, mainly because they dont make stand-alone computers for auto, and the build up for the auto was pretty pricey.

same here, sorry to hear that. well, my best advice is to get a tranny cooler from B&M they make a racing one for like $75. if your in So. Cal you can go to JMO. usa. they have made torque converters for Signal in japan. and do installations and modfications for each customer. if your east coast, go with level ten. despite what people have said, not many people have actually delt with them. where ever you decide, just make sure you can be easily acceable to them, in case you have questions or problems

To my knowledge nobody at this time has upgrades for the valve bodies for the honda auto tranny. The valve bodies are a huge weakpoint to the honda "automagics".

sport compact car did an article, on a automatic integra with a supercharged or turbocharged b20! that was printed about one or two months ago, check that out(the tranny was done by level 10)!
