Default All motor monster!!!

I know my goals now and here is what I want. If anybody can make a suggestion on a good motor to work with then please give me your opinion: I want an all motor setup, reliable, streetable, and (with street tires) will get my 90 teg GS hatch back down the 1/4 in 13 seconds with a full interior, a/c, and ps.

Your input will be very appreciated.

I am looking for the best way to do this. I guess I need to make like 200-220 at the wheels to make it into the 13s. All fingers keep pointing to CR/VTEC but, I am not sure if I want a frankenstien motor. If I don't have a reliable setup then, it will be shitty. The winters here are long so, reliability is a must.

Just call up Import Builders and buy one.

Big bore, high compression, big cams, stiff clutch, big name header, fuel & tuning. All you need.

12:1 comp. pistons? No more than 60,000-80,000 miles out of it without a rebuild? Thanks for your input but, I want to do something that is streetable and reliable. I don't want to have a motor that won't last me a long time. This is a daily driver so, I am going to be putting a lot of miles on it.

then you're not gonna get ur goal all motor. skip on over to the boost forum.

i am building a 13:1, skunk S3 2 liter and plan to give it a thorough inspection every 5k miles at the minimum. i have access to a bore scope so i dont have to pull the head. but a strong all motor build is pushing the limits and you will not get near the same kind of engine life.

and if you're questioning 12:1 CR then you missed the boat on all motor . 12:1 is the bottom of the pile anymore. 12.5 is done regularly on pump gas and 13:1 is being done more and more where 93 is available.

Then, turbo it is. I would rather be able to reach 250whp anyway. That will put me in the 12s.

You can do it with some very simple setups:

1)
JDM B18c-R Swap
I/E/H
Hondata
Toda C, JunIII, M24's, Sk2 S2

2)
B18a
B16 pistons
Vtec head
I/e/h
ctr cams and valvetrain
hondata

But you might want to just overbuild a bit:
3)
B20/B18c1/B18b Block
Sleeved 85mm
JE pistons
Forged Rods
LS Crank
P&P Head
Big cams
IM+TB
IEH
Hondata

225+whp!

Money isn't even that big of a deal right now and it won't be for the next two years. A friend of mine is in the air force and he was sent to Japan for the next two years. He can get me a whole C5 swap (if I wanted) for like 1500 or something like that. He can get parts for really cheap. He is not a big Honda fan though (DSM tuner) so, I am afraid he might get me the wrong parts if I asked for them .

He said Skylines over there are like Mustangs in the U.S. everybody has one. He can get a R33 sent here for like 5k.
