ive got a 93 cx hatch with a d16... i was really thinkin about putting the zex cam in there cause im told its a good power band cam... i was just wondering what yall think about it!? help me make up my mind

 

i dont think alot of people use them...so you might not got alot of feedback but anyways check out http://www.exospeed.com i heard they make some nice cams.

Skunk2 is suppose to be releasing a Stage 1/2/3 and Turbo cam for that motor, Exospeed has a cam for it. The ZEX has shown good ganes for the money. Honestly for this setup I would look into Crower.

 

ZEX cams works really good most of the SOHC pickup half sec or better

 

are you serious? Thats a pretty big increase.

 

sorry all i have heard r bad things about crower.... i guess they make a really bad vtec cam... cause i know 5 ppl that have had them snap on them....

 

zex cam is definately the best bet for the money- skunk st 1 is out and its over a hundred dollars more than the zex cam, and from the dyno's ive seen it doesnt have the same gains. crowers have a tendancy to break. also, the crower st2 is more aggressive on the intake than skunk and zex, and is a little lopy at idle. i bought the skunk st 1 for my z6(should be installed soon) and if it doesnt live up to my expectations im gonna ditch it for the 53900.
