Default integra brakes on eg coupe ex

I know that the integra brakes will fit on a civic but i cant remember what year models integra will convert. I have a 94 EX, I recently found a 90-93 integra in a junkyard complete with the front steering knuckles and rear discs. Will this setup work on my car. and what other brake options do i have that will perform good.

It might be able to work, I've heard with some "engineering" a few people around have done it. But you really just need to get some brakes from a 94-up Integra, since the the chassis is the exact same as yours.

A. If you have an ex and it's *edit*"It's" being the donor integra*/edit* not a type R there's no reason to get the front knuckles/brakes.
B. Yes 90-93 REAR disk brakes will fit ( I have them on mine)
C. The rear lower control arm bushings (shock bushing specifically (I believe) is larger than your stock civic's... I just used my civic control arm with it (not neccisary if you're not putting in a es master kit))
D. Get the master/booster and proportioning valve too... they're important.

Good luck.

You're not following...

the front disk brakes are the SAME on integra's and civic ex's... if you change from one to the other you're just switching identical parts...

if the donor car is a type R then they ARE bigger on there... so switch them... but if it's ANY other model you already have those brakes.

Yeah, the disk size may be the same. The caliper is not, thats why many people upgrade to the integra spindles. Yeah I was thinking 92-93 EX since they have smaller disks.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm just about positive the ex and ALL integra's minus the type r have IDENTICAL front brakes... rotors calipers etc...

The best link has been posted right above this reply.

As far as 1990-1993 front spindles go, they do NOT work the same. They will throw the camber WAY negative.

Also the front rotors on 1994-1995 Civic Ex and Si are the same as Integras, but the calipers are bigger on the Integra.

also there was no 1992 EX coupe - only the EX 4-door was available.

EX coupe started in 1993.

OK so they DO have bigger calipers...

I'm pissed I could've gotten the rs front calipers for my swap when I got the rears...
