Default ground-control question

I'm installing ground-controls on top of bilsteins. does the treaded body of the g-c really just sit on tip of the lower spring perch??? With nothing holding it in place to keep it from rocking? something seems wrong.

You should have o-rings that slide around the shock body to keep it sturdy
