Coilover Question (Preload - Shock Compression)
A question for those with height adjustable coilovers via the shock body instead of just preload.
Would it be wise to raise it from the shock body a tad and use preload to lower it back? I noticed that with the car on the ground and no preload set into the springs, the shock is compressed a good amount (Buddy Club Racing Spec). I haven't noticed any bump steer but I just had to ask myself if raising the stroke up a bit via preload would be a good idea. Has anyone done this or am I the only one who didn't think about it in the first place?

have the spring so there is no sag in the shock
and drop the lower adjustment on the shock body to lower it
having no sag will make it react faster....maybe not noticeable...but its there
