Default Recommend good street clutch for GS-R (Stage1)?

I want a nice streetable clutch, one that has relatively easy engagement. Something that will last and will hold. Don't plan on more than 200hp and the car will be primarily used for Daily driving with some weekend racing. What do you guys recommend? Something good yet not to harsh on the wallet is always nice. Thanks for your help.

If you got 200 whp...you can't get a street clutch. Too much power for that street clutch to handle.

I recommend ACT stage 3 6 puck with heavy duty pressure plate for that kind of power.

Are you sure about that???????!!?? 200 whp isn't much at all... I find it hard to believe that everyone with a JRSC is running a racing clutch. BTW- IMHO racing clutches suck. Yes, I've driven them successfully... but they are still are too harsh on the driveline and too much of a pain to drive in traffic...

i got the ACT race/street clutch and it does great, which they take and mix the two.

i have a 94 GSR and it does great with the clutch. it slams every gear hard and it is not hard to drive with.

Look into kevlar/organic based clutch discs for smoother daily driving purposes... kevlar being the better choice/compromise imo if it isnt too expensive.

You can have a "street" clutch setup with ~200whp and be fine imo.

hmm. . . well the 200HP is on the top end. Realistically I'll be shooting for 180whp but I like to leave room for improvement. Someone stated the sell the Exedy Stage 1 for $250 shipped. This a good clutch?
