Does anyone have dyno charts showing the difference between 2.25" and 2.5" exhausts?
I know the R guys like to dyno. I've been looking for some dyno charts comparing 2.25" to 2.5" exhaust systems. There seems to be a lot of people saying that 2.5" loses tq down low compared to the 2.25". I know that ultimately, the 2.5" makes more power, but if anyone has any charts for reference I would appreciate it.

This chart proves it wrong

Thank you. Torque appears to be the same down low as with stock, maybe 1-2lb./ft. difference.
I heard 2.5'' doesnt make any noticable power(assuming you took care of the bottle neck after the cat). But I would like to see dyno plots too.
The dyno comparisons would look much different if you were comparing the two systems on a 170 whp stock R or on a 350 whp turbo. The exhaust you need depends on what type of set up you have.
BTW, Hybridctr, I don't get anything with that link.

you obviously realize that there has to be some tuning (both cam gear and fuel) involved and not a matter of slapping on one for the other and dynoing the difference....
well its kind of my point. Not everyone dyno tunes their car after adding an exhaust system. So, for me, I'm more interested in untuned results, or even lightly tuned results.

I have a chart that I can post that has a 2.5" exhaust, but not sure if it will help you, since I don't have a chart of it with a 2.25" for the comparison.

Sorry I don't. But here is the chart, and it made plenty of torque down low.
