Default 6500 rev limit on boosted 97 prelude

for some reason i cant rev past 6500 rpms now that my car is boosted i dont know what is wrong? i dont think its fuel cut or boost cut? check engine light is not on so ecu isnt in safe mode , it was until i got my missing link please help i cant enjoy full boost in vtec for vey long?

are you sure your not hitting rev limit? sounds like vtec isn't engaging...checked your oil lately? there is also a small filter the vtec inside the vtec solonoid that gets clogged and needs to be changed.

you might want to post over in the forced induction forum, theres a lot of smart people over there also.

I'd say the problem is that you turboed a non-turbo car.

Hey rab, you think anyone will notice the seats when im tech'n my car. Not sure if seats will throw me up in a class or not.

why what'd you get race buckets? Sounds like you're going back to a different class say hello to SM guys, you're going to have you *** handed to you.

i dont know what rab is talking about or what his problem is but i figured out what was wrong, when we took the oil pressure sending unit out to get oil for my guage and turbo feed line we didnt plug the factory sensor back in so thats all i gotta do

No rab read my prof. I have rsx type s seats. Do you think that will make a difference.
