Anyone notice a diffrence in performance with the hot weather ??
Ok, all was good when i installed my custom turbo kit on my zc, Which consist of mistu t25, 1st gen smic, 450's and safc hack in my crx. I had absolutley no traction in 1st and 2nd gear and it pulled pretty hard in third. Well once the weather warmed up, like 90's the car runs like ***. Won't hardly spin 1st. Everything stayed the same, compression is 150 psi in all 4, and boost is still 8 pounds. but when the weather cools down at night it runs better.. Has anyone seen that before.. Would it help to spray the intercooler..?? and could it be getting heat soaked.?? Thanks for any help or ideas
Uhhhhh Yeah.
Try driving a JRSC. Those things are terribly heat sensitive. Even with H2O/Methanol injection it still bogs a lot more when its hot. The J&S starts pulling a lot of timing also.
It's still fun first thing in the morning though

I have to agree if your car is still tuned for winter driving spray the intercooler. as far as us JRSC boys we are just screwed. maybe its time for the juice????? maybe a 20 shot
