Teg front brake calipers on 99 Civic?
I've heard that 94-01 Teg front brake calipers bolt right up to the 96-00 Civic EX. And I've heard that you need to change out the spindles. Anyone know?
they fit, but are barley bigger, not too noticiable difference, i could see the upgrade from dx to gsr but from ex to gsr does not really seem worth it. the rotors are the same.
yes they do bolt up but it is better to change out the spindles and hubs as well so you can run the bigger GSR rotors with the bigger GSr calipersI have the full GSr set up on my hatch and it is one of the best upgrades I have done but make sure you get some good pads if you are planning to track your car anytime soon
To the best of my knowledge all Teg brakes are the same (excluding ITR). And the front rotors are the same as the Civic EX, just the calipers are slightly different.

well i dunno if it helps but i got 95 GSR calipers on my 93 Civic Si (EX)coupe. bolt right on. noticeable diff in stopping power. marginal diff in size tho. maybe it has a bigger piston in it, but i didnt measure.
