Ordering Bilstein shocks need help.
Im in the market right now for Bilstein shocks but Im having a slight problem. I wanna buy the Sport shocks but every site I go to only has them for Type R's. What is listed is "HD" heavy duty. I dont want heavy duty, I have a friend that had them (sports) about a year ago and swears bye them. Does bilstein not make sports for our car other than the Type R? And what are the physical differences in the "hd's" and the sports???? Ive tried every link on bilstein.com???
Bilstein doesn't make Sport's for non-type r's. I wouldn't get the HD's. They're more of a replacement shock. You can't go wrong with AGX's or Koni yellows.
personally, I'd go Koni Yellow
and for the Bilstein SP...yes, they only work on the typeR, but again, don't worry about it.
to make the install as easy as possible, I'd buy the typeR ones and just buy some TypeR rear LCA's. It'll make the suspension install go so much easier (the shock bolts on the stock lca's will seize and cause major headaches)
