8500 Rev limit on stock b16 head?
the first gen b16's have dual valvespings on one side only. the sirII's have dual all over. doing 8500 on the first gen is pushing it. i wouldnt. i personally am going to buy some ITR springs and retainers when i get my CTR cams
8500 isnt that much over but personally id like to be safe. 9000 is really pushing it on a 1st gen b16 head tho. i would just invest in some ITR springs they are cheap and will do the job fine. furthermore they are not overly stiff.

Not in my case...JDM ecu has completely different fuel maps, and DOES make power up to 9000 rpms.

i disagree
reving higher will result in a higher RPM when you shift gears, which will leave you in a more powerful band of power.
Though doesnt matter how magical your ECU is, you wont be making power at past 8k w/ ITR cams.
rev her to 8500
