Default S2k LSD dif durability?

Are problems with the rear differential common?
Does this happen only with abused/raced cars?
Would a reinforced differential housing from Comptech eliminate any potential problems?

TIA!

From what I understand in this matter, the rearend is the "weakest link" of the car but you should not have any trouble with it unless you have F/I and a grabbier clutch setup. The reinforced housing wouldn't eliminate all the problems because I think the axles need strengthening as well. I could be wrong about this but check S2KI.com for more information. Just do a search for rearend upgrades or something to that effect.

Thats my understanding too. I haven't heard anyone complain about the rear on an unmodded engine. Also, if you have the stock clutch it should give before the rear diff does.
