Default pcv valve, breather filter vs. catch can

So i have read a few posts about this and now i have a question. i dont want to turn this into an ongoing debate because i know its not good to just throw on a breather filter to your valve cover, you should hook up a catch can when going turbo. but i was thinking...could you just connect the hose from your valve cover to the tube between your air filter and turbo? wouldnt this be the same thing as having it connected to your intake pipe being N/a? a yes or no answer will do, sorry if i missed this opinion in another thread - thanks guys

Yes.

As long as you use a slash-cut tube (like stock) to ensure no negative pressure on the valve-cover due to high-velocity airflow.

Do a search. Lots of discussion on this.
