I am currently doign the IM swap...

I have run into a few problems. that I was told I would not of...first of all, I am using the Y7 TB...on the TB itself I have place for basically all the sensors, great, but on the z6 IM, I have 2 spots for electical connectors that are NOT being used, I dont haev any more wires, they are all plugged into the Y7 TB...is that normal or what?!??!

also question #2, I have this denso thing, it has 1 electical connector, and what seems to be 2 vacum lines...one in and one out...the one in comes from what looks to be a big beer can, towards the middle left passenger side of the engine bay, I have no idea where the other end goes otu to...any know

last but not least, what should I use for the throttle cable??! would the little mount thing off the Z6 IM work? mine did not come with one, so I am asking

arghh such a pain in the @$$, debating if this was even worth it, the FPR off the Y7 does not work, so if anyone has one off of a Z6 they do not use, please email me leb_crx@hotmail.com, I need it ASAP

I dont have means of getting one right now, it's either the Z6 or the Y7, and from my understanding the Z6 is the better manifold...do correct me if I am wrong

1 you cannot use a y7 tb on any other im than a y7. it opens backwards.

2 that black bear can theng is your charcole canester

3 use your factore throttle cable?

are you swaping a y7 head to your crx si motor? i would just use the hole im tb and all of your a6 motor. thats what i did when i put a y7 head on my d15b7

 

1- your wrong a lot of people are using it on Y8 heads

2-ok whats it used for?? and where is the other end suppose to go?

3-I understand, just need to figure out if the Z6 bracket will wrok

and nope I dont have a CRX no more, I have a 97 HB now
