I was about to buy a header(dc sports) off my friends civic si B16A and he said that it would fit my b18b but i don't really trust his judgement. Could someone please help thx

Yes it will

 

It will fit, but flanges wont line up.

 

It will bolt up to the head just fine. All b-series headers use the same head flange pattern.

You may have to cut or lengthen your exhaust piping though if the collector doesn't end in the same location as your stock header.

 

I have a 00' Si DC header on my 99' LS and everything is ok length wise I had to take it to a muffler shop and have them cut off the flange, turn it and weld it back on because like someone else said, the flanges won't line up.

It will still clear the block. It just wont bolt up to the cat thats all without modification.

 

ok this is for sure......It will fit and clear the block. The only thing is that the flanges on the b16 header and the flanges on the ls cat wont line up. You will have to get it welded or something

 

Are you sure b/c I tried this with a Greddy B16 header on my car and it wasnt long enough to clear the block. Or maybe I just suck

 

Yeah, it should fit. I have a b16 header on my car and it fit.
