Default overheating problem

my rex keeps overheating on me whenever I go up a hill at about 4000 rpm. I dont have this problem whenever i shift below 3500 rpm. Could it be my thermostat? My radiator supports are also messed up (radiator moves around) so can that also be the problem? I checked my coolant levels and its just below the max level. If anyone knows about this problem please tell me!

Sounds to me like a bubble in your coolant. When the car is cold just take off the radiator cap and let the car run for about 10 minutes, that should get any bubbles off, and refill it if it is low.
