Default Overheating

New guy here! I was wondering if you any of you guys are having w/ overheating when going under boost. I have upgraded my radiator and installed pusher fans. My next theory is to throw away the thermostat to keep constant flow. Do you guys think that will cause a problem?

I had the same problem when I bolted on my turbo and the reason is because when we had to drain all the coolant from the block, and when you fill it back up there are air pockets inside which were causing it to over heat. To fix this all I had to do was let the car cool down, take off the radiator cap, filled the radiator to the top until it over flowed, start the car with the cap off and let it idle for 15-20 minutes. Once the air bubbles are out the coolant in the radiator will drop to it's normal level in the neck. Hope that helps.

It only overheats if I step on it. So drain again because it just got put on Sat. and I have been driving around. When I am cruising it is at a normal temp.

did everything, even bleed the air out. I let it set for about 20min, hit the street boosted lovely, then was I went back into chill mode the temp went to hot. It's gotta be the thermostat. A few moments after that it's back to normal temp. Here is my theory; I hit boost, thermostat open up, I get out of boost thermostat closes and not allowing enough flow of Fluid thru the engine. what do you guys think. I also got with my shop to check for signs of blown head gasket and there was no signs

upgrade thermostat, spoon offers a cool one thats the only high performance thermostat on the market. Make sure to check the thermoswitch too make sure everything is running smoothly. u can test ur thermostat to see if its not working, by boiling a pan of water and dropping it in. it should open up. if not then its busted...
