Default Where the Hell is the chime for the seatbelt and door?

I think i have a short circuit on either my seatbelt or my driver side door. I spent all of f%$^%647 sunday looking for the short and couldn't find it. I tore my whole freakin car apart. You would think i was Tweaking or something!

Today in the morning. Monday, morning mind you. I drove 55 minutes with my door chime ringing the whole time. please help.

if it is the same as my 87 crx, check under the steering wheel, on that plastic panel that would be above your knees. if you take it off, you should find some wires running to a little black box. that would be it.

oooops!
I forgot to specify. My ride is a 90 CRX Si.
I don't have a black box above my knees . It actually sounds like it's comming from my seat belt warning light, infront of my rear view mirror.

Thank you in advance.

I had a '90 si (hb) that had the seatbelt warning beep. It would beep like 5 or 6 times real loud whenever the seatbelt was taken off, and it became really annoying when someone in the passenger seat would take off their belt either while i was driving, or before i came to a complete stop. So i ripped the little beeping speaker out. If ur 90 rex is like mine, all you have to do is unscrew and take off the plastic housing that has ur seatbelt warning lights in it (by the rear view mirror), unscrew the circuit board so that you expose the light bulbs that light up ur seatbelt indicator lights, then on the board you'll see this small black cylinder lookin' thing with a hole on top of it. This is your beeper. I just straight bent the thing off cuz i figured i wouldn't ever need it (don't worry ripping this thing right off the board will not affect the way your seatbelt lights function). After that, i just screwed the board back onto the plastic housing, and put it back up where the mirror is. Bam boom no more seatbelt beeping! Lights still work --

Of course if you wanna be all proper about it, you can desolder the black beeper off the board if u plan on usin it again or somethin'... But I knew i wouldnt miss it, so i broke it off.

Hope this helps!

If it IS in fact the seatbelt chime, and you have a 90 CRX.
Just unplug the sensor from under the drivers seat.
or buckle the belt or jiggle the belt release button.
the big orange thing on the buckle mine does it all the time.[

or better yet.. it worked for me because my door and seatbelt chime were goin off.. and to turn it off i just took out the sensor by the rear view mirror...
Its right on in the inside of your roof infront of the sunroof.. that has a light for the seatbelt and such!!! UNPLUG THAT see if that helps

It's soooooooo much easier to just reach under the seat and unplug the
sensor.
Boom, youre done, in literally 2 seconds
