headlights blinkning
I noticed when i drive, my lights like sputter. I dont have a system or anything. I just put a new alternator in, battery is 2 years old, and headlights are 2 years old too. Any ideas what the problem is?
check your grounds to make sure they are properly connected, have you tried replacing the bulbs ?? i highly doubt the alternator is at fault since the car still runs fine and everything starts and works well in the car...
I do agree with changing the light bulbs, as they could be faulty. Also make sure if the wiring has recently been done, that your alternator could be not working.. ie not in use.
it's probably the alternator. you may have gotten a bad one, also maybe the belt. is the light "sputtering" related to the rpm of the engine or is it constant? does it still happed if you disconnect the battery while the car is on?
I had the same thing happen to me in my old old car (89 probe) for a week or so before the alternator craped out on my sister.
Good luck!

i kno its the alternator, because i switched mine too, and the guy gave me the wrong one, it was like overcharging and ****, so it make all the electrical stuff in the car flash, or blink as u say. go brack and gt another alternator, or better yet, birng yours and have it rebuilt. that should solve your problem dude
