what kind of problems do you notice when plugs go bad? I have a check engine on and it says im misf
Hi I have a 01 prelude with 40k miles and lately my car is rough like when I start it and then goes away as I Start driving for a sec. I think it is plugs but can plugs cause this. Oh yeah and today for the first time ever My car started and then cut right off and tried again and started fine. I Need some advice please.

plugs dont cause the check engine light. a misfire might mean timing or something. you need to actually go to honda and have them check it out. since its an 01' its probably all under warrenty.

Last time I was at honda the tech said the misfire might be from the plugs, and when he checked the light it was plugs. I dont have money to let the idiots up there diagnos and fix the prolly easy problem. Im gonna buy all new ignition components and have my shop install them correctly and hope the prob goes away. Thanks for reply any other opinions?
