Help me find this oil leak before I go to the dealer :(
1994 Honda Prelude VTEC, had it up on the hoist after getting rid of all of the oil residue, replaced leaky oil cooler seal... doesn't seem to lose much city driving or racing around town, can lose up to a quart in a 200 mile highway drive, drips nicely off the transmission/side of transmission, rear main is good (no oil from behind bell housing cover or through the flywheel plug on the front of the tranny), pan gasket should prolly be replaced but it isn't bad yet, underhood can't see any oil, cam/solenoid/distributor seals SEEM ok because of this, looking up from a hoist it's coming from somewhere but i'm not sure where.... HEEEEEEELP!
you should check the balancing shaft seals. they had a recall cause they were spinning or blowing out or something. It is a cheap fix, if you can do it your self. If not it is still cheap except for labor, ocviously! but the seal was a honda recall, so check it out
