Just the other day i purchased a 92 VX... i've noticed when i stop at stop signs that my car wants to die, it idals very low... like 100... do all the VX's do that??? or is mine just fucked up .... and is VTEC spoda kick in at 2900?
FYI, my old VXmotor idled VERY low.....you could clean up the IAC, but it wont help much.....VX's are made to idle low and consume very little gas.....
the vx's VTEC-E system allows vtec engagement at 2800 i believe, and yes it's supposed to do that so it burns as little gas as possible, hence the 52mpg hwy milage!
good luck with it, it's the lightest 92-95 hatch ever made
