SS brake lines
Alright I'm planning on doing a rear disk conversion on my 93 ex coupe. I got disks from a 99 Si, with brake booster and all. It seems that the front are the same, so I'm not gona bother with changing them, I'm sure the master cylinder is needed, so I'll swap it out. My question is the following? What Stainless steel brake lines should I get? I know that the front spindles had the lines hooked up a bit differently than on my coupe, but are the rear the same? So should I get SS for 99 SI or should I get SS for 92-95 disk w/o abs?? Are they the same??
Thanks for everyone's help.
Thanks for everyone's help.
If you want to save the trouble of having to bend and reflare your hardlines at the mc, sell that 99 SI mc and booster and pick up a 91 EX 4 dr. mc, it's 15/16" and bolts right up to your hardlines and stock booster, no bending and flaring needed.
Even if I get the SS brake lines?.... how much more work is needed? It seemed that many have done the gsr spindles swap, was the modification also needed?
Thx
