Just like it says . I have a b18c1 with skunks2 mani , CAI , dc 4-1 header , and greedy sp cat back but my muffler fell a part so I'm running with stock muffler and i have like no tred on my tires. by the way this is my first time to the track.

what I'm i doing wrong. From what people tell me i should be running at lest 14's.

 

What kind of car??? and what kind of tires?? but mostly... improve on the 0-60 times and reaction time... but all in all... the time isn't that bad.. last night was my first time at the strip also.... took the R out for the first time ever....

it's an EK hatch running on steelies w/ bald tires, wings west buddy club body kit, almost a full tank of gas, and full interior. I was guessing it was a combination of weight and shitty tires cuz he was spinning through every gear.....better luch next time eh?!

 

thanks matt. i hope by next time i will do better . any body have any ideas on what my problem is . By the way all my trap speeds were like 92 mph if that helps .

Reaction time doesn't mean dick. Its not factored in. Many people have said this over and over on these boards but it still seems to be a rumor that just won't die. Your 60ft isn't THAT bad. I would say if you had good traction that you would cut 2.2's or so putting your time at 15.2 or so. Your problem lies in your trap speeds. Your only hitting 89mph! That indicates that you just aren't making the horsepower you should be, especially in a hatch. With the mods you have listed, I would say you should trap at least around 95mph. Hell, my stock Si trapped at 89mph. Something isn't right with that setup. You running any kind of chipped ECU? Been on the dyno?

 

All my other trap speeds where in the 92 mph thought . Alot of people say its becuase i'm running a OBD2 itr ecu and thats not working with the skunks2 mani.
ANY MORE HELP GUYS??????

 

Even at 92mph, it still seems way too low. Are you throwing any codes?
