Default Broken headlight switch...

I just broke my Headlight lever clean in half!!! Anyone ever have to relace this thing? Is it hard to do?

I'll pull it of on my day off but anyheads up would be great.

thanks

you are talking about the stalk right? you broke that in half?

OK here is what you do after you get radio code and unplug battery (airbags are a PITA if they go off) let the car sit for 10 mins to discharge circuit for airbag...

1. remove instrument panel lower cover and knee bolster
2. remove steering column covers
3. unplug 20 pin electrical connector
4. turn steering wheel so you can have access to the two retaing bolts and remove them
5. remove bolts
6. unplug switch and remove from housing
7. to install it reverse above procedure

Thanks

Anyone know where i could get a diagram or picture of the housing? Do I need to take the steering wheel off? I've got all the plastic pieces off, I just need to get down to the stalk.

Thanks again

no you do not have to take the wheel off just turn it so you can get to the two retaining screws... then it comes right out......
