sohc vtec head
i was just wondering how you trell if a head is v-tec if there is no valve cover? and if i put a 98 sohc vtec head on my 95 vtec block what would i need from the 98 model(ie: distributer, valve cover, manifold, head gasket)? or could i just bolt the block right on and use my parts from my 95?
the dist plugs will be different, you can stilll use them, but you need to swap around the wires
i think obd1 has two plugs and obd2 has one big plug for the dist
they should both be color coordinated the same
the injectors will have different plugs, so keep that in mind for what harness you will use
if the head is complete it will have a vtec solenoid
and i think thats it!

just look at the rocker assembly.
There will be an extra rocker arm in the middle of each rocker on the intake side, called the lost motion assembly, or whatever.
Those are for VTEC.
Plus, there will be the selenoid mounting location on the back of the head, easy give away
