is it ok to remove this thing underneath my car?
somehow like 3 bolt came off this plastic thing underneath my car and is now scrapping the surface...is it ok if i just take it off?? its hanging my like 2 screws the rest has dissappeared..thanks!

take it off, and you will be getting water/mud everywhere where it shouldnt be going. i would suggest getting some screws to hold it back up.
i dont know if its just the pic quality, but that filter looks filthy!

probably alot because honda seems to think everything they make is made of gold so they charge out the *** for it.
i asked how much ONE of those plastic little clips were that held on my bumper, and they wanted 3.50 for it!one!

it's the middle splashguard, it connects to the left splashguard and also most hondas and acuras have 3; one left, one right, and one middle. I suggest you just get some screws and tighten them down.

they can be had at junkyards for as little as 25 bucks...get a new one that will stay put.

I took mine off and the engine bay stays pretty clean. I just try to not to rolling around in water or rain at all.

yeah it makes the engine bay pretty dirty....lots of dust gets stirred around...but ive been rolling without it for 2 years...in southern California...just make sure u pop ur hood once a week and do a quick once over ull be fine..

same here. well, my tire rubbed a hole in mine and then it eventually fell off while i was driving down my street. i've been through dust and rain and even got stuck in the mud and have had no problems. the engine bay is still as clean as it could be for a 6-year-old car that has never had an engine bay cleaning.
