Default Need help with spring rates!!!! ASAP

I have a 00 Honda Civic Si and I'm about to get Ground Control. I was told that they offer custon spring rates. I have a KYB AGXs and I'm confused on the spring rates. I was thinking about 650 lbs in front and 800 in rear. Would this be too stiff that it will blow out my shocks? I want to go Auto-X and I'm tired off "body rolls" when I take turns. I want the stiffest spring rate that I could have without damaging my shocks. PLEASE HELP ME!! thanks.

WOW.....650/800 is really stiff.....i mean really stiff. if you want to keep any street drivability....that is...not have your teeth fall out from the harsh ride then i would go with the integra rates. from what i have heard they are a bit stiffer than the normal rates used for a civic and offer better handling with only a slightlty harsher ride than regular ground control springs for a civic. to help with that body roll try getting a good rear sway bar, strut tower bars, and a rear lower tie bar. also, putting the AGX's on the stiffest setting during auto-x will help as well. good luck.

i've heard 400 is about as high as you'll be able to go on KYB AGX's to stay fairly reliable.

Front 8kg/mm rear 6kg/mm will be more idea for sports driving and front 10~12kg/mm and rear 8~10kg/mm will be quite ideal for more lapping days event and stuff.

I'd rather get Kg/mm DR Racing springs instead of GC coilover springs. I used them before they are just really nice on street and circuit http://www.aj-racing.com http://www.kgm.co.jp

Feel free to contact me at spoonek4@hotmail.com if u need more info on those.

Remember if you go with a anti sway bar it may move you into a more competitive class.
