I tried a search but didn't really get the answers I was looking for.

I'm looking at gettng the fujitsubo exhaust for the car but due to lack of $$$, I cannot get a new header yet. Is it possible to get a cat that will connect to the stock header and the new exhaust without having to hack my bpipe?

Yeh, but then the cat won't work when you get a JDM length header. Just don't install it until your get all the right pieces and do it one time. It will save you money in the long run.
