My passenger side ball joint won't tighten back up. The nut gets about half way and then the entire joint starts spinning with the nut.
Any ideas on how to keep the joint from spinning or do i have to replace the entire thing?

 

You've got to put a lot of pressure on the joint. What I've found to be most effective is to take a pair of channelocks and squeeze the top of the tie rod end to the socket. I know it's a pain in the ***, but just apply a lot of pressure and be patient. HTH

 

Jack up the LCA with a FLOOR jack then tighten away.

 

Sometimes I have to do both of the above to get the nut all the way up.

you guys have any idea a lower ball joint on a gen3 integra would run for? at a junkyard?

 

I think it's only about $30 or so brand new from Pep Boys. Might want to check that out instead of getting a used one from the junkyard.
