Ok, this thing hums. is it bad?

this thing here. i unplug it, its stops. the car doesnt run if i do. um, yeah.

BTW, WTF is that thing
evap purge solenoid?

sorry abotu the slow loading pics, imagestation blows goats lately.

im not sure but my guess is that it is an iacv (idle air control valve)

Yes, U should be getting a 505 check engine code along with a bad idle. Oh yeah nice direct port setup
