Default Power Windows install on an EK

I know its been done and some say its not that hard to do yourself but, I'm looking for a shop in the DC, Marland, Virginia area to hook up Power Windows in a car that had manual windows. Had the car for a year, installed door panels off a 99 si that has the buttons for the windows in the right spot but everythings not hooked up. Need Help. Do not want to try to survive another HOT summer of driving with the doors cracked open. Thanx

I.M. me. I did that swap in an EG and it wasn't too difficult. You already have the door panels so you have the expensive part. The tricky part is getting all the wiring. I can help you with that. It can't be all that different from the 92-95. You can probably find the necessary wiring from Central Small Car Salvage in Upper Marlboro (I'm a frequent customer of theirs )

I'm in DC. I spend most summer weekends at the beach but i'm glad to help if I'm around.

Are you kidding about Central Small Car Salvage in Upper Marlboro? I went there once to look for a hood and all the cars I saw were stripped beyond recognition. I never saw such sad piles of picked over scraps of metal in my life. I don't know how often they get new cars in, but that was the experience I had in April 2003. I won't waste my time going there again.

I might take you up on that offer. I work in Upper Marlboro behind the Ford dealership. I haven't been to Central but i have been to Brandywine up near 214 off 301n and the cars there are pretty ripped apart already. There is a guy that works there that has an EK(Red w/ c/f hood). Also i heard that Pohanka Honda can do that kind of work, yes, no?

Gee Mike I wish that you lived near Boston. I want to install a power window just in my passenger door with the switch in my dash. So was that EX coupe door panels that you used? What other wiring do I need to scavenge?
