It kinda depends on how much boost you are running. I would say that below 12 psi...stick with the GSR trans....but over that, you will need the longer gears.

I would do GSR motor with GSR tranny with LS final drive. that way you keep your close ratio gear set but you just have a tad bit longers gears.
