Default Aem Short Ram

Does anybody know what the diameter of an AEM short ram intake is? I am planning to buy one.

im in a dillema here i have a bone stock 96 gsr and i am planning pretty much to just get aftermarket headers and exhaust... would i be better off getting a short ram or a cai and which would be better for my stock setup since i wont be boosting or anything AEM CAI or Short Ram or a Comptech SHort Ram or CAI? Is comptech really worth its price tag? btw i live in so cal so the chances of me hydrolocking are pretty slim....

AEM intake will be loud. Comptech intake will be much quieter. They both put out similar HP gains.

Hmm, well I'm looking for a 3" intake and I don't want it to be a CAI since when it rains here, it floods.

Ya I know about ITR intakes but I can never find one for a good price. Do you think $100 is a good price for a used one.

a 3" flow will be better later on for lets say a turbo or supercharger. below 3" will be just too small
