Default Trying to do a compression test

But I can't seem to find a break down in my helms manual for the steps needed. And C-Speed doesn't have the link available anymore either. Can anyone let me know where in the helms manual the compression test is broke down? I've pretty muched looked through the whole thing and I know it's gotta be in here somewhere. Thanks guys

Here is how I did mine.

I bought a $25 compression tester at some parts store.

Remove all the sparkplug wires and sparkplug.

I then unlplugged all the fuel injector harness.

I started from cylinder one and ended at cylinder four.

On each one I did about 7 cranks and wrote down the numbers.

Thanks Len, I know the basic routine, But I was just curious and almost positive that the procedure was shown somewhere in my Helms and was just trying to find it. Thanks again

only do 5 cranks...anymore than that is almost a waste of cranking...lol.

Make sure your throttle is wide open also.

u dont have to remove the harness, you need to remove the Fuel Injection fuse in the fuse box, if you dont you can fry the ignitor in the distributor
