Default increased redline

I want to be able to rev my motor higher. Right now, redline is 7600 and I want to be able to rev it to like 8500. Are modification to my car will do this for me?

Worst thread ever. Build the engine to take the RPM, chip the ECU.

WORST answer ever. Build what on the motor? What exactly would I be replacing?

why do you want to rev higher?

Anyways, you'd have to replcae the valve springs, get some cams that are capable of making power that high, and maybe build the bottom end a bit (don't know too much about H22A's, maybe they can handle it maybe they can't)... doesn't it make enough power for you? It's a big displacement engine, it's not meant to rev that high...
