no they will not work on a 88 unless you buy 89-91 rear LCA's..

o well, to bad he does not know that.. Anyways on the topic of struts and coilovers... Should i get some ebay coilovers to go with my stock shocks, If so does it matter what kind... I know some people say 'you get what you pay for' but right now im trying to concentrate on fixing my rust and not worried about having the best suspension, and since my current springs are pretty bad i just want something for the mean time.....Are the coilovers the same if they are 91's they wont work for 88s? Thanks for any help...

don't buy ebay coilovers (didn't know they were manufacturing now) unless you want your car to ride like crap. I know you are probably in a hurry to get something on the car, but remember patience is a virtue. don't sacrifice performance for time. I've just seen it go wrong too many times.
