Since My 88 crx hf will need some new springs soon... I'de like to know what im doing before i do, whatever route i take...
Im kind of confused though, do coilovers eliminate the springs... Can you use like adjustable coilovers with stock shocks If not can i use the coilovers at stock height untill i get different shocks, How much is a decent combonation of coilovers and shocks and what brands..... Or what i dont get this crap at all... Like what parts do what, and what is the difference in spring rates and so on....

TRUE coilovers ARE the springs AND the shocks all in one such as Tein, Zeal, JIC
cheap "coilovers" such as ground control, skunk2, Generic APC ****, and JUST springs and sleeves. you still need to get shocks, or run stock ones (which is totally not recommended)

running on stock shocks sucks. save up, and do it all at once. its easier than doing it tiwce, and the ride will be much better.
