My EF9 has problem on VTEC, when the VTEC kick in the sound has change but no power increase at all.
Has any expert give me some advice what went wrong, please!!!!!

All i can think of is the fuel regulator doesn't supply enough fuel.

Sorry, I have no real idea. I mean, how do you know it's not making a difference? If the system's engaging, unless there's a serious problem with your head (the one on your engine of course) it'll work.

VTEC isn't like turning on NOS, though . It's not like it's going to surge and throw you back into your seat...

 

Because my friend has a same car, but he got filter and exhaust, his car feel a lot quicker.
0-60 mine 8.9, his 7.7.

What raeneshadow said. How do you know its not working? When did you get the car/engine? Here's something for you to try:
unhook the plug from the vtec solenoid, and THEN drive the car. drive around the neighborhood like this, and then hook it back up and try it again. We need more info on your car...

 

Thanks i try, coz after 6000rpm, i can hear the engine sound change but the power d't increase that's y i think the VTEC d't work properly.
