Default 4th Gen Heater problems

for some reason the heater in my lude constantly runs, and when i hit high speeds (60mph) continuously on the highway it seems to get hotter and hotter. I'm always driving with my windows down cuz it feels like a friggin sauna in my car. Anyone else have this problem or know what is wrong. and whenever i take my key out of my ignition, its really really hot.

wow man that sucks....hmmm lets think...Check this....I have found that in hondas there is always a little air blowing through the vents.

What I would do is check to see of your cable is still correctly attached to your hot/cold mix door. Sometimes that clip that holds the cable to the box gets loose or stripped and the temperature control slider doesnt function properly. In other words, the mix door may be in partially WARM mode all the time, no matter what the sliders position is.

Also, as for the fresh air/recirculation function, if the fresh air duxt is open to you car, warm air fro outside is being forced through your vents. These are the only things that i can think of that would cause warm ari to be constanyly blowing into your car.
