IAC what exactly does that do?
im asking cus i went to the dyno and threw that code, we reset it and it hasnt come back, but my idle is not good, it fluctuates from 1000 to 2000. could the iac make idle fluctuate or should i be looking somewhere else.

yeah it could. or it could be a vac leak, but if it happened after you threw code, then i would suspect the iacv. idle your car and unplug the iacv plug...if it smooths then i would say it's the iacv. if you just want it to idle smooth and not replace it, bypass the two air holes between the intake manifold and iacv by making a gasket that covers up the holes...do put holes for the two 12mm's. keep it plugged up and you'll have no fluctuation and no check lights. reset the warm idle a little higher for the a/c compressor 300 rpm leech.
