Default P3 ECU for mini-me?

I want to know if I can somehow use a OBD 0 89 JDM crx ecu (B16a) in my 89 crx si with the mini-me to activate v-tec...is this a good idea? I don't want a rpm switch, becuase it may activate v-tec when the conditions are not right ie: oil pressure, temp, etc. So can it be done? If so how much work are we talking about here?
Thanks.

Hello? Anybody? Will I need a new harness or is this mostly a wire looming nightmare? What do you guys think I should do?

gonna need to add wires/bung for the addl 02 sensor, oil pressure switch, vtec of course and ground the wire for the knock sensor or add one. It can be done but watch your rev's b/c a SOHC can only handle 7200 safely while a PR3 will go up to 8200. It will work though

Or do you think it would be eaier to run a P28 with a conversion harness?

depends on what you already have. You can go with a P28 with the jumper but your gonna need a different diz and a 4 wire 02 sensor. It is the correct ECU for your motor though. If you have little or no mods it most likly will run the best. You can also go with the mugen rom for the PR3 which will disable 2nd o2, oil pressure and knock sensor but still risking over reving unless you have a seperate ignition with a built in rev limiter because most of those roms have no rev limit. gonna have to weigh you options here. Do you really think will stick with the SOHC or going DOHC VTEC later?? How much are you wanting to spend?? just a few things to consider in the long run
