Default installed my B&M fpr and guage today, got a couple q's

first a little background info. my pressure with just the guage was about 43 psi with the vaccum hose on. i have a obd1 ecu with a jun chip and i was guessing that the fuel pressure was going to be higher, but i guess not. also after i installed the actual fpr and adjusted the fuel back to the 43 psi point i replaced the vaccum hose and the pressure dropped quite a bit. so do i adjust the fpr with the hose on or off? im a little confused. also i have a vafc, but its only initialized, not been messed with at all. any thoughts you guys can lend will be helpful

FPR measurements are ALWAYS done with the vaccum line OFF the regulator. Readings with the vaccum on are meaningless.

Stock FP is 47-54psi (vaccum line off - of course...)

so i guess i kinda f'ed up. i took the initial reading with the line on, and the second reading with the line off. on me. but to be sure, i need to set the pressure between 47-54 with the line off, right? then when i put the vaccum line back on, the pressure will drop, but that is normal. how am i doing so far?

That's right take measurements with the vacuum line off.

That is correct, your reading will drop once you re-attach your vacume line. That is normal...

Just set it ~50psi and you'll be fine.
