teflon tape really necessary when installing a FPR?
im going to install my B&M FPR and guage later today and it says in the direction that i should use teflon tape on some of the fittings. is this really necessary? thanks

Andrew: Depends.. you want it to leak fuel or not?
We left tape off Realtor's car one time and it was leaking nicely...
tape has always worked for me

For the FPR you do not need to use it...
But for the gauge, YES YES you need it... I try to install it without teflon tape
and there was a BIG leaking of gas...
