Yes it has a resistor box. What 450's are you running?? 1st gens or 2nd. If there 2nd gens your need to remove the resistor box b/c the ohms load is too high for the ECU. Also 450's are huge injectors I think 340's are as large as a stock ECU can also handle....correct me if wrong on this one

yes it has one but thats established already.

wouldnt the ecu just treat them like the regular 240 or 270 injectors and just make em dump more fuel into the engine? or does the ecu distinguish between higher flow injectors.

I would believe at closed and part throttle its dumping too much fuel and that could also cause the cel 16, b/c thats the only thing the ECU can see wrong. Everything I've ever read says the ECU will only idle 340cc injectors dunno if thats what was ment or not. Try a AFC and bump the idle a/f ratio down then work the settings the rest of the way. Also check about AFC Hack incase you go over 10psi

they sound like the right injectors from a 1st gen. Your still using the resistor box right. -40 for a VAFC/SAFC is what is usually set at and seems correct. Double check and make sure all the plugs are on good and tight and theres no breaks in the wires, thats all I can think of. You seem to have everything else right though
