Default Where does the inline pump go ? help ASAP

I'm installing my inline pump today for my turbo but I thought the pump goes where the line from the fuel filter to the fuel rail goes. The guy I work with says it goes back where the tank is. Where's the best place to put it beside inside the tnakl which I have seen some people do ? Thanks

on the engine bay it wil not do anything at all.... the best location its to mount it about 6-10 inches after the stock fuel pump... on the line (of course tho)
find a good spot and mount it
