Default Which way is OUTLET and INLET on my bosch inline fuel pump?

just got my inline fuel pump guys, with no instructions or anything, I have a basic idea of how to put it on but which way is the outlet or inlet?

On one end of the pump, I have the terminals coming out, with a "L" shaped barb, and the other end just has the barb sticking straight out. Which is which? Anyhelp would be appreciated.

ALso, do I just cut in-between the fuel filter and fuel rail? and connect those ends to the fuel pump, or do I need any fittings to make it work? TIA

the terminal end is the outlet side and i wouldnt mount the pump like that, either mount it in the tank replacing the stock one or sump the tank and mount it near the tank out back

Straight barb is in from filter, L shaped barb is out to rail.

Cut your fuel line in half and put the pump right in that line.

Inlet is the silver nipple by itself. Outlet is the brass barb fitting on the same end as the electrical terminals

It should have something on the acutal pump itself that says "FUEL" and has an arrow pointing in the direction that it needs to go. At least that is what my BOSCH fuel pump had on it.

Ok so Silver nipples will have the line FROM the fuel filter and the brass end with the termials will have the line GOING TO the fuel rail??

correct?
